I'm looking to go camping camping Colorado.Where some good spots in Colorado.?
I know a couple of places, but I want to try something different. The two essential elements are the ability to make a campfire and a fishing very close.
Goose Creek Trail # 612 "Lost Creek Wilderness" is great if you like camping backpack. Access: From Lake George turn north on the road and go to Forest Road Tarryall 211. Turn north and follow FR 211 to the trailhead at the edge of Lost Creek Wilderness. This popular trail is a main north-south in the southeastern the Lost Creek Wilderness. Along the road, you will find primitive campsites, good fishing in Goose Creek and a few large outcrops red Pikes Peak granite. Aspenglen Campground in Rocky Mountain National Park is nice if you decided camper. Access: Take Highway 34 west from Estes Park.
