Kinda, we go a little old school or another, no ipods and stuff, just a group of people, perhaps a radio, couple of guitars, What kind of food would be good if we can just cook over an open fire also like hot dogs and soup and stuff, what kind of things can we do everything, and it will be for about five days, so we need many things, thakns Assistance
You can actually cook a little fire, especially with the help of a Dutch oven. For starters, you make your fire and let it get hot and make sure there are plenty coal. Make sure you have lots of wood. Here are some things that can be made wiser food: BBQ Chicken – Simply put in the chicken legs, chest, etc. and BBQ sauce and 1 or 2 cans of cola. (Sounds weird, tastes delicious) Tacos – You can cook the burgers as you would normally for tacos in a Dutch oven. Soft taco shells are easy to site because they occupy some volume and cheese is just as easy. Simply make little bags of chopped vegetables in advance. Omelets – You bring us eggs and wanted all chopped vegetables in advance. Mix eggs and put them into the Dutch oven with vegetables. Cobbler – A box of white cake mix and the other ~ 14 ounces of your choice fruits (peaches and cherries both work well). Simply mix the two things together and put in Dutch oven and cook until cake on top is done. Stuffed Apples – Cut the heart of the apple. Fill the hole with brown sugar and cinnamon. Wrap with foil and put in fire until apple is tender. S'mores – Pretty self explanatory. Slides Lipton Pasta – Boil water and put the noodles in. Be sure to keep the lid on your pot to prevent ash from entering the water. Bagels – much better choice than bread because they will not be crush as easily. Perfect for PB & J (or any other sandwich for that matter) or simply as a bread breakfast cereals. Cheese crackers and summer sausage / pepperoni – Breakfast Makes for a single property that can be easily transported if you decide to go hiking or something else. Trail Mix – Rather than buying pre made trail mix, look for an article critical of your grocery store where you can buy nuts, candy and nuts. Make your own trail mix with only the items you want! For easy snacks – granola bars, fruit snacks, apples, etc. (Think of your commands in a packed lunch from elementary school) Since snacks are generally in a box with several portions in it, it works even if everyone brings 1 or 2 boxes and you can redeem the points. You've discovered that almost everything tastes good while you do camping, so do not worry too much about food. As for activities ranging from hiking is a good way to pass time. If you are a state / national park, they usually trail maps that let you know how long certain paths and trails are well marked and easy to follow. Depending on where you are, canoe rentals may be available and spend a day on the water is nice. A frisbee is missing never entertain the campsite, even with the card game (if you make cards, make sure that people know a variety of games – playing the same thing for hours for 5 days will not be very funny). Once it starts getting dark, just sitting around a campfire and spending time proves be a good form of entertainment.
