How long would it take to walk from Florida to Alaska Key West Barrow?
I want to walk from the farthest point south in the we further north. or maybe I'll do the opposite. I do not know but first I need a little help in planning if you are a walking / mountaineering enthusiast and think you can help let me know. Thank you very much
There are very few or no Highway north of Fairbanks, AK, if you want to go through the mountains, if you're ready for that. Since the start of the US-1 Fleming St Key West Fl Fairbanks is about 5,032 miles from Fairbanks to Barrow and about 500, so a total distance of approximately 5530 miles. The distance from Key West to Fairbanks was founded on miles of road and a little rounded by a couple tenths of a mile for computing purposes. Based on a walking distance of 4 miles per hour is 1382.5 hours. Now the last 500 miles would probably be slower than you would not be on a road and go over uneven terrain. Sounds like an interesting trip. Personally I well the drive. I never go on foot from the first mile. Kudos to you if you could.
